Kim Houston serves as Chief Administration and Financial Officer of METCO, Inc., where she oversees the organization's financial operations, human resources, and administrative functions. With more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit finance, tax preparation, and organizational management, she has built a career focused on strengthening mission-driven organizations through sound financial stewardship and strategic leadership.

Kim is committed to advancing METCO's mission of expanding educational opportunity and fostering equity for students and families. She believes that strong operational leadership is essential to empowering programs that transform lives.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kim is dedicated to community service and mentoring, bringing both compassion and integrity to every aspect of her leadership.

My METCO story is also my brag! I proudly consider myself the ultimate METCO Auntie. I have had the joy of watching two of my nieces graduate from Reading through METCO and both have earned their Masters. Now my goddaughter is continuing the family tradition as a METCO student in Brookline.

METCO is more than an job to me, it is personal and deeply meaningful. I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand the opportunities, relationships, and experiences METCO provides to students and families. Being part of that journey is something I am incredibly proud of.

And, as if being a METCO Auntie wasn't enough, I am also very happy to announce that I am now officially a dog auntie to an adorable Pomadoodle!
