Jermaine Singleton is a proud 2014 Newton North METCO alum and 2018 undergraduate alum from Howard University. Jermaine attended the METCO program in Newton from K-12 where he embraced the opportunities afforded to him academically and socially, becoming a familiar face in the Newton community. His passion for social justice led him to Howard University where he immersed himself in the culture and history that is the HBCU experience, further increasing his sense of racial self esteem and community purpose. In his personal time, Jermaine is a classic car enthusiast tending to his own car, and enjoys watching and attending NBA and WNBA games.
