Dual Enrollment Program With Endicott College and EmpowerEd

Five METCO Youth Council scholars took an important step toward their college and career futures by submitting applications for the upcoming Dual Enrollment Program with EmpowerEd Finances and Endicott College. 

The opportunity, centered around the Financial Freedom Launchpad, provides students with a 14-week learning experience focused on practical financial literacy skills, including saving, budgeting, credit, and investing. Students will participate in weekly in-person sessions with METCO, Inc. while completing coursework between sessions, with the opportunity to earn three transferable college credits. 

Their decision to apply demonstrates the scholars' willingness to invest in themselves, take advantage of college-level opportunities, and build financial knowledge that can support their educational, career, and personal goals.
