METCO is not simply an organization I work for, it is part of my story.
I am a proud METCO alumna who attended Brookline Public Schools and graduated from Brookline High School. My experience as a METCO student shaped my understanding of the power of education, opportunity, community, and belonging. The program opened doors for me, exposed me to possibilities beyond what I may have otherwise imagined, and became an important part of the woman and leader I am today.

Today, I have the incredible privilege of returning to METCO not only as an alumna, but as a leader committed to helping advance its mission. My connection to METCO has also come full circle as a parent of a METCO student in the Dover-Sherborn Public Schools. I understand the METCO experience from multiple perspectives as a student, a parent, and now as a professional leader working to strengthen the organization and the experience it provides to families and students.

That full-circle journey is deeply meaningful to me. I know firsthand what it means for a young person to have an opportunity, a community that believes in them, and people who advocate for their success. I bring that understanding into my work every day.

I am an accomplished executive leader, strategist, administrator, event professional, and community advocate with more than 16 years of experience supporting executive leadership, boards, complex organizations, and high-impact initiatives.
I currently serve as Chief of Staff to the CEO of METCO, Inc., where I bring together executive leadership, organizational strategy, operations, stakeholder engagement, board relations, communications, and special projects. My role allows me to operate at the intersection of leadership and execution helping turn ideas into action, ensuring priorities move forward, and creating structure and accountability around the work that matters most.

Before joining METCO, I spent more than a decade at Cambridge College, where I served in the President's Office and supported the President and Board of Trustees. During my tenure, I worked closely with executive leadership and institutional stakeholders on high-level administrative operations, board governance, strategic initiatives, confidential matters, events, communications, and organizational priorities.
My experience supporting a Board of Trustees gave me a unique understanding of governance, executive decision-making, institutional leadership, and the importance of building strong relationships between boards and executive teams.

I also built and led Robyn Carroll LLC, my consulting and event management business, where I have provided business administration, project coordination, event planning, and full-service event production services. Through my business, I have managed everything from corporate functions and fundraisers to weddings, commencements, anniversary celebrations, and community events overseeing planning, logistics, vendors, design, budgets, timelines, and execution from concept to completion.

I am particularly proud of my ability to walk into a complex situation, identify what needs to happen, create a plan, bring the right people together, and make it happen.

Coming home to METCO in a leadership capacity is one of the most meaningful chapters of my professional journey. I am proud of where I came from, proud of the career I have built, and even more excited about the work ahead.
